As Christians we have a moral and legal responsibility and are entrusted by God with the spiritual, emotional and physical well being of all God's people. It is our responsibility and commitment to provide an environment, which is safe and nurturing for all who participate in activities sponsored by our faith community and or diocese.
Safe Environment Program for the Parish
CLASSES SCHEDULE:
THURSDAY, AUGUST 27 7:00 P.M. - Gonzales and Hill Room
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 20 7:00 P.M. - Parish Hall / Cafeteria
Please note the “Screening Form – Initial Trainees” (below) for instructions if you have never taken the Safe Environment training.
Screening Form - Initial trainees (1st time trainees) should complete the online “Screening Form” at https://dallas.setanet.org/screening.php. When you complete a Screening Form online, DO NOT COMPLETE ONE WHEN YOU COME TO CLASS. TELL THE REGISTRAR AT THE DESK THAT YOU COMPLETED A SCREENING FORM ONLINE.
If you are not a computer user, please arrive 20 minutes early for form completion and photo. Bring information for three (3) personal references (unrelated and acquainted with you for at least 3 years). You need their name, address, phone and email address.
Renewal Trainees should arrive 10 minutes early for form completion and photo process (you may use your old photo or take a new one but it is necessary to check in at the photography station to advise what you want and get a new photo if that is your choice).
You may elect to renew online versus attending a class:
Go to dallas.setanet.org
Click on “My Obligations”
Type in your information
Click on “Update Information and Continue”
On the next screen, click on “View all Online Courses” (selection bar under your name)
NOTE: If there is a required class and you have not met that requirement, you will see that information and YOU MUST TAKE THAT SPECIFIC ONLINE TRAINING.
There is a total of 10 options for renewal:
2 videos ("Family of Faith" & "Internet Danger")
-click on one to watch it - If you select one of the 2 videos for online renewal, your renewal will automatically be entered to your database record and you will receive a confirmation email; a copy of the email is also sent to the Safe Environment Coordinator and a Temporary badge is issued pending receipt of a new photo badge.
