Holy Family of Nazareth Church was founded August 1, 1964. Within a year, a school was introduced to meet the educational needs of the families of the parish. Initially staffed by the Sisters of the Holy Family led by Sr. Loretta as its first principal, it has since been home to a host of educators, both religious and lay, committed to the mission of quality Catholic education at Holy Family.

45 years of ministry and quality education has been an integral part of the fiber of Holy Family of Nazareth Parish. Recognized as a School of Excellence in 1992, Holy Family continues to provide educational opportunities for the children of Irving and the surrounding area.

New Facilities have been added to include a new primary building, computer lab, gymnasium and playground areas. graduates of Holy Family of Nazareth School continue on at such schools as Jesuit Preperatory School, Ursuline Academy, Bishop Dunne, and Nolan Catholic high schools to name a few.
